Disability Royal Commission Supports - Q&A Videos

Brief

Improve understanding of the Disability Royal Commission's counselling and advocacy supports amongst for people with intellectual disability.

Task

I worked with a creative agency to develop videos that featured people with intellectual disability and address the most frequently asked questions that people with intellectual disability accessing support services ask.

I facilitated the development of the script and creative concept, which had input from counsellors and advocates who provide supports to people with disability. Throughout the project, I liaised regularly with the creative agency, ensuring that they met deliverables on time and within the allocated budget.

I also attended the video shoot on behalf of the department. I made sure the production aligned with the approved concepts and provided sound advice on script changes.

Result

We developed two Q&A style videos that featured genuine questions from people with intellectual disability. The videos are now live on the DSS website.
